Did anybody really think Citizens United would benefit both partuies equally? Have any corporations (or unions) given anything close to $1 Million to the Democrats? If Corporatist candidates are allowed to take control of Congress in 2010, the new order created by Citizens United will become permanent as fewer and fewer candidates who represent the people will be elected or even nominated. Corporate control of the American government will be complete. On August 17th, the Huffington Post reported that Newscorp (Fox News' parent corporation) made a $1 Million donation to the Republican Governors Association. This record-setting donation was made on June 24th, but Media Matters reports that in nearly a month no Fox News outlet has reported or commented on the donation.
